Testimonials

“Kaiya and Sophie offered great advice and helped guide me through how I may want to move forward in publishing my work. They both acknowledged areas that I wanted to know more about, whilst also offering alternative ways of doing it. This really helped widen my understanding and offered ideas that I had not considered. It was a super helpful session and I came away feeling much more positive in getting my work out there in the world. Thank you for your help.”

“Kaiya and Sophie helped me to shape ideas and realise their potential, from methodologies to zine production. I feel empowered by the discussion and by the knowledge they have shared. I’d recommend the self-publishing session to other creators, whatever stage you are at in your project!”

We are in the studio on Mondays between 11am – 5pm, though may be able arrange a time outside of this. These sessions take place in our studio in Catford or on zoom. Collaborators working on a single idea are welcome and encouraged – the fee is per session not per participant, and includes a bit of time for us to read anything you want to share ahead of the session, and any follow up admin after the session.

These sessions are not:

  • Adobe CC tutorials

  • Risograph induction sessions (though we are happy to answer any questions you might have)

Accessibility: We are able to enable Live Captioning on Zoom. Our studio is on the fourth floor with step free access via a ramp into the building, and a lift. There are gendered toilets on our floor. We can agree breaks and other forms of support when organising a session, so just let us know what you need and we will do our best to make it work for everyone! Support staff/PA’s welcome.

Please get in touch with the following info:

  • The name & pronouns of yourself and any other collaborator who will attend the session

  • A brief outline of your idea and what stage it is at (for example, you might have a piece of writing and want to transform it into a publication, or you might have an idea for a publication but not have any content, or you might have a draft publication and want to discuss what to do next, etc)

  • What you want to focus on during the session

  • Your availability

  • Any access requirements
